Parboiled Rice

Parboiled Rice is produced by a process which modifies the starch and permits the retention of much of the natural vitamins and minerals in kernels. The rice is usually slightly yellowish, although the colour varies from golden to pearl white. It is available in long grain and short grain.

It is boiled with husk thereby improving its nutrients contents, texture and cooking properties.

Process:All possible care is taken at the parboiling stage to ensure uniformity in soaking, steaming and drying of paddy. Latest machines are used for milling of paddy resulting in high quality rice.
